StratPlan
StratPlan is LandMark’s easy-to use and affordable strategic planning model based upon simulation modeling techniques. Incorporating familiar forest management information, the model allows for varying of silvicultural plans (growth) and harvesting plans (removals) in such a way that the inputs are clear, and the results make intuitive sense. Since it's designed for anyone with a basic understanding of resource management and good computer skills you will not need a staff analyst to run StratPlan.
Resource Decision Support System (RDS)
Landmark Systems has developed a comprehensive decision support system with all of your data entry, import, editing and processing needs in one place. It includes tasks such as inventory, growth and yield, GIS data editing, mapping, analysis and strategic & tactical planning.
WoodStock
The Woodstock forest modeling system is used for a wide variety of analyses; including harvest scheduling and wood supply analysis, wildlife management and simulation of forest ecosystems. The system is flexible, allowing you to create models using both simulation and linear programming (LP) formulations.
Landmark can incorporate this system along with our RDS, or install and train as a standalone system. Use of this modeling system requires an analyst, LandMark can train one on your staff or we can serve this function.
Spatial Woodstock is a new software package from Remsoft that provides visual representation to Woodstock models and the components of these models. Anything you’ve represented in your Woodstock model can now be portrayed spatially on Spatial Woodstock maps. Not only can Spatial WoodStock provide a single snapshot of your model as it is applied today, but can also show a succession of such snapshots, to illustrate the impact of management regimes in the future.
Stanley
Remsoft’s Stanley for Windows 95, 98 or NT offers unprecedented capabilities for spatial harvest planning; its high-end functionality and incredible number of tools will help you do your job better. Stanley completely automates the process of spatial harvest planning and works in conjunction with WoodStock. It's easy to use, works with harvest units developed by any means and with geographic information obtainable from most common GIS packages. It accounts for any regulation or constraint, and deals easily with greenup (adjacency) delays, limitations on opening size (clear cuts), visual quality initiatives and other Sustainable Forestry Implementation guidelines.
As with WoodStock, Landmark Systems has the capability to assist your organization in the installation, training and use of this very valuable tool. |
