The Nomad™ outdoor rugged handheld computer from Trimble Forestry Automation continues to pack even more functionality into one of the most powerful and full-featured mobile devices available. Start with an 806 MHz processor, up to 2 GB of Flash storage, a long-life battery and integrated wireless capabilities like GPS, 802.11g, WWAN and Bluetooth. Then select an optional integrated laser bar code scanner and color digital camera. The Nomad handheld also features a high-resolution, sunlight-visible VGA display that shows graphics and maps in crisp detail. And it's fully rugged which means the Nomad handheld off ers a lower Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) than consumer-grade handhelds2.

Every Nomad handheld comes with an 806 MHz Marvell PXA320 XScale processor, 128 MB RAM and a hot-swappable Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) battery that can work all day without a recharge. The Nomad computer also includes the latest Windows Mobile® 6 software, so it runs all the applications you use most, including a wide range of thirdpart software for industry-specifi c applications.
