LandMark Systems has announced that they have become a sponsor, along with The Nature Conservancy and the Florida Wildlife Federation, of two Climate Action Reserve (CAR) workshops scheduled for February in Florida. The two workshops will be located in Tallahassee (TCC Capitol Center) and Tampa (John Germany Public Library Auditorium) on February 8th and 9th, respectively. Refreshments and lunch will be provided by the sponsors to all participants.

“These workshops are intended to educate landowners, foresters, land managers, public policy experts and many others on the opportunities available in the carbon markets,” states Mark Milligan, President of LandMark Systems. “These are new markets and they are beginning to take off, regardless of what happens with cap-and-trade in Washington. However, there remains a great deal of confusion and misinformation, which is understandable. This workshop is geared toward addressing that issue,” added Milligan.

Interested parties are encouraged to either contact LandMark Systems (Tim McAbee or Mark Milligan), or you can register at Workshop@climateactionreserve.org. More details about each workshop are included in the documents listed below:
