Re: "Biomass blunders: Once again, we lose an opportunity" (Our Opinion, March 21)

The Tallahassee Democrat makes an important point about the opportunities lost when the "not in my backyard" mentality dominates a community's mindset. The fact that prescribed burns, idling trucks and backyard bonfires emit pollution into the atmosphere is an important reminder that biomass electricity plants would not be the only sources of pollution in the Big Bend.
