Mike Holley has been with LandMark Systems since February. Mike has been implementing Trimble Forestry Automation's Blue Ox System, which is a forestry transportation management system that increases efficiencies and reduces costs in timber operations. Mike tells us,“The Blue Ox System has been implemented in the East Texas/Southwest Arkansas area, called Phase I. We’ve seen some remarkable events in the past few weeks. Trimble has tweaked the software to fit this area of the United States and continue to send out regular updates. Truck drivers and loggers are very impressed with how well things are working since we have already seen some significant increases in loaded miles. Over the next few weeks, we will be adding additional trucking capacity which will only increase the excitement of what this program is becoming.” As time goes on, Mike will continue to monitor all trucking logistics and ensure that all truck drivers and loggers are getting the benefits of Blue Ox.
